When Katherines mom mentioned a session with her daughter and horse, Im not going to lie I may or may not have done a sight giddy dance. Add in that we were able to shoot the photos at Sierra Vista VA and my goodness I am obsessed. I love these unique images SO much!
This was my first experience shooting at Keswick Vineyards in Charlottesville Virginia and it was such a beautiful location! Miranda and Thomas were absolutely wonderful and so laid back. Their love for one another was apparent the whole day, and I loved working with them, their friends and wonderful family!
I can’t believe this little nugget turned one already! So glad she came to see me!
Newborn sessions for me are very much lifestyle based. Less posing, more simplicity and lots of family involved :). I love how smitten these siblings are with their new baby brother! These were taken inside my studio!
So I hate to use the word “adorable”, but Kathryn and Nate we just that. Their relationship was one of the most genuine, sweetest things I have ever witnessed. Everything about this day left you smiling and wanting to just be their friend. Side note, Im a BIG sucker for bright, colorful bouquets like Kathryns! Their wedding took place at the Old Pate Chapel in Lynchburg Virginia, with their reception at the Bottling Company. Planning was conducted by Jennifer Onalee weddings :).
I love shooting weddings at the beautiful Tresca on 8th! Aryn and Alex were a dream couple, and I couldn’t be happier with their images! Thank you for letting me capture your day!

They may have been hit with a little post ceremony rain, but that didn’t stop these two from walking away with some beautiful images. Their wedding was at the gorgeous Boonsboro Country Club in Lynchburg, VA, and everything was just stunning. I must say, I have never seen a groom quite so smitten with his bride :).

These two. I don’t have enough words to tell you how amazing they are. They were married at the amazing Sierra Vista in Goode, Va, and their day couldn’t have been more perfect. I loved every detail, but especially their amazing hearts.

I was so excited about Claudias session, mainly because of the awesome areas we found to shoot at. Claudia wanted a mix of downtown/urban and a chance to capture the awesome fall foliage. I would say that we definitely succeeded that! Im obsessed with how these came out.
With all of the rain we have had this past year, I must say that we really lucked out for Kathryn and Nates engagement session. These two are getting married this coming April, and I am so excited! I don’t know that I have ever laughed so much at an engagement session. They are pretty awesome :)
So I am super backed up on blogging! I am working now to fix all of that :) I love seeing these sweet kids every year! I enjoy their sessions so much!
Connors newborn session is the perfect example of what lifestyle newborn photography is. I absolutely love coming into the home and photographing clients in a natural environment. I think that it makes newborn photos even more special than they already are :).
I am so excited about these two getting married this June. Seriously how cute are they?? We had the BEST weather for their engagement session :)
I have photographed this little nugget all year and I just love her! She is so sweet. I wish that I could take credit for the amazing set up you see here, but thats all her mama :) LOVE these so much!

Natalie and Mark were just married this past Saturday and Im already blogging their wedding....THATS how much I love these images! We not only had some amazing rain clouds, but an incredible sunset as well. It seriously could not have been a better day. Natalie and Mark were married at the beautiful Sierra Vista in Virginia, they decided to do a first look which trust me is always a great idea! Not only do you get more images, it helps you prevent missing any portraits later due to rain and storms. Not to mention, you get to see each other in a more quiet, personal environment...which trust me is sooooo needed on a wedding day!
Natalie and Mark you guys were seriously amazing and had me laughing the whole time. You make me love my job even more and I hope you love this little preview. I can't wait for you to see all of your images!

I love it when my clients bring their little ones to me to celebrate their milestone! This first year is such a changing one, and I highly recommend documenting a six or either month milestone :) I shot miss Cate's newborn session and she looks soooo much like her sister now! The new studio was perfect for this as well!
Well guys I am so backed upon blogging! As you know I (or I should say my awesome husband) have been busy this summer building the new studio this summer. Not to mention regular shoots, the kids being off and traveling....lets just say my kids are back in school and I am back to work! I did Jessicas senior pictures early this summer and you guys...I can't handle how amazing they turned out!
